Morgan dmorgan@efn.org ==================================================================== Jim Markham, 82, of Holland, TX, Dies Jim Markham, for 65 years a resident of the Holland community, died Tuesday night at Tulia at the home of his son Frank, where he had been living for the past three years. Mr. Markham, who was a farmer when he lived here, was born in Tennessee Sept. 11, 1853. He had not been ill, apparently dying of a stroke. Services will be conducted at 2:30 pm at the Baptist Church by Rev. B. B. Blaylock of Temple, who has conducted all the services for all members of the Markham family who have died. Buriel will be in Post Oak. Survivors are fours sons, Ed of Happy, Frank of Tulia, Walter of Cameron, and Ernest of South Dakota, two daughters Mrs. Austin McQuire of Rush Springs, Oklahoma, Mrs. Seth Waddell of Bentonville, Arkansas, and a brother, John, of Stamford. The late John Markham of Holland was another son.
