TEMPLE DAILY TELEGRAM Tuesday Morning June 1 1920 MORTUARY Jas. W. Nichols Jas. W. Nichols died at the family residence, 506 West Nugent Ave., at 6 am, May 31, aged 69 years, 4 months and 6 days. Mr. Nichols, familiarly known as "Uncle Jim" was a respected citizen of this county for a number of years, having moved to Bell county from Kentucky in 1872, locating on Little Elm creek 4 miles north of Temple and 13 years ago moving to the home just north of the city. In early life he united with the Christian Church and was a respected member at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Fannie Nichols, two daughters, Mrs. C. C. Grubbs, Miss Ada Nichols and a son, James Emzy Nichols all of this city.; also by one brother, A.J. Nichols................... (this is where it is cut off)
