J. (Tom) POWERS, 57, brother of Mrs. E. W. FOREMAN of Belton, who was born and reared in this city, died suddenly from a heart attack while asleep in his bed Sunday morning at his home in Lows Angeles, California. He had been in ill health for several years. Born in Belton in 1885, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John POWERS, pioneer Belton residents. He had made his home in Califronia for the past 35 years. He is survived by his wife, one son, Breuss, who lives near San Francisco, and two sister, Mrs. E. W. FOREMAN of Belton, and Mrs. Nettie GOTT of Houston.
