A family record of Moses A. Lewallen is in the possession of Mrs. Dean
Skinner, Austin, Texas. The record was said to have been torn from his
Bible one descendent wanted his Bible; and the other, the record. The
record was copied in July 1961 by Raymond H. Bostick, San Antonio, Texas.
Mr. Bostick is a grandson of Mary Adeline Lewallen, listed as a daughter
of Moses A. and Margaret Elizabeth (Rainwater) Lewallen. Other records
were added to the original apparently by Fannie Lewallen Thompson
Whiteley, mother of Mrs. Skinner.
