Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Kerrville Veterans Administration Medical Center Chapel, directed by Grimes Funeral Chapels. He was born Dec. 26, 1927, in Brownwood and had lived in Kerrville for seven years, previously living in Houston. He was retired from the railroad and was a member of the Presbyterian Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include three cousins, Linda Diez of Madrid, Spain, Lowell Renfro Jr. of Mexico and Bill Renfro of Kerrville. Additional Comments: I am not related, I lived in Sonora, Sutton County, 65 miles south of San Angelo. From 1990 to 2000, I meticulously collected the entire obituary page (s) from the SAST and saved them by month carefully folded in separate 10x13 envelopes-then in file boxes by year. What I have is extracted here, and I do not still have the files.
