Mr. Alden B. McBroom, 6O,  Box 194, Somerset, Tex., died January 7. Resident 
of Somerset 25 years and member of Somerset Baptist Church, Member of Chapter 
No. 877, I.O.O.F.  Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Louise McBroom, Somerset, Tex.; son 
Mr. Robert A. McBroom, Somerset, Tex.; brother, Mr. W. L. McBroom, Corsicana, 
Tex.; sisters, Mrs, L. F. Hardgrave and Mrs. Ruth Bass, both at Corsicana, 
Tex,; and Mrs. N. K. Witherspoon, Overton, Tex., 7 grandchildren and numerous 
nieces and nephews. Services 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan 9, Somerset Baptist 
Church, Rev. Ernest Pankhurst officiating. Interment in Bexar Cemetery.  
Pallbearers Frank James, George Pyron, Clarence Jameson, Lamar Hazel, Judge 
George Wiseman, William Lynn. Arrangements by Roy Akers.
