He died at an early age of 53, in 1969. (SEE PHOTO) The Back side of the Tombstone is that of my Mother Martha Jackson EWING. She passed away in 2002. (SEE PHOTO). My Father earned among many awards, the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal. He flew B-24's from 1942 to 1945 as well as being a TEST PILOT for numerous other types of planes.
