Cemetery:           Ft.Sam Houston National Cemetery
Name:               Mr. & Mrs. John Donald Ewing

Two Tombstone pictures, the front side is that of my Father Major John Donald 

Ewing who served as a B-24 Bomber Pilot in the Southwest Pacific during WWII. 

He died at an early age of 53, in 1969. (SEE PHOTO) The Back side of the 

Tombstone is that of my Mother Martha Jackson EWING. She passed away in 2002. 

(SEE PHOTO). My Father earned among many awards, the Distinguished Flying 

Cross and the Air Medal. He flew B-24's from 1942 to 1945 as well as being a 

TEST PILOT for numerous other types of planes. My Mother was a school teacher 

in Alamo Heights for 22 years.
