Prepared for the TXGenWeb Blanco County Web Site by Wanda Qualls Location: Go south out of Blanco on 281 until Farm Road 32, turn left. Go about 5 miles till the Cox Road, turn left. Go to the 2nd cattle guard, the first left turn, go through the gate and about 1/2 mile to the house. The grave is 100 yards from the house under an oak tree. In 1985 the land belongs to Mrs. Sidney Cox Sidney Cox Born: Dec 10 1910 Died: Oct 1980 Parents: John Quitman Cox and Lydia E. Saunders Cox Siblings: none Married: Dawn Young Children: James Quitman Cox and Edmond Dow Cox Sidney Cox grauated from San Marcos and taught at A&M for about 20 years. His coffin was made from boards from an old barn on his place.
