Transcribed by: June Baird (1985) Prepared for the TXGenWeb Blanco County Web Site by Wanda Qualls Location: On the Lanehartz Ranch - South 281 out of Blanco, past Little Blanco Inn and 3rd Left turn about 3 miles. After Turn go 1.4 miles, take left fork in road to first old house (old Koch home) House is on Holt Ranch. It is about 300 yards north of house and is fenced and has headstones. There are 6 graves. Koch, Carl Dec 29 1834 Nov 22 1910 Notes: Born in Saxony or Barvaria. Parents born in Barvaria. Father was Gottlieb Koch Siblings: Hermann; Pauline Koch Jonas and 3 others - names unknown. Married: Karoline (maiden name unknown) Children: Anna; Carl; Emma; Fritz; Adolph; Emil; Rudolph Koch, Karoline Apr 09 1835 Feb 01 1915 Notes: Married: Carl Koch Born in Brunswick Headstone inscription: "In Londe woes Kein Schinden gibt Verent Goo die sich hier gebiebt" Koch, Adolphine Dec 29 1872 Jun 09 1899 Note: May be daughter of Carl and Karoline Koch, Gottlieb abt 1802 May 04 1884/1887 Notes: Unknown parents and wife. Children: Carl; Hermann; Pauline and 3 others names unknow Landed at Indianola, Texas in 1854, He came to Texas with 6 children, his wife probably died on the way north or after they got to Seguin.
