Follow the road to the second house. This is the Alwin and Eva Beckman place (1984). The cemetery is west of the house, 100 or 150 yards. Col. Richard B. Goar Born: Georgia Died: 1857 Married: Effie Lindemann, eldest daughter of John Lindemann Sr., before coming to Texas. They came to Texas with the Lindemanns in 1845. Children: John C. Goar; Edward Goar; Mary Goar Thrasher; Ora Goar; Ann Goar Sherman Effie remarried to George Palmer and had five children: George; Malinda; Dora; Louella; Benjamin Who the other graves belong to, no one seems to know as of 1984.
