Transcribed by: June Baird (1984) Prepared for the TXGenWeb Blanco County Web Site by Wanda Qualls Location: Chimney Valley Area. Located 5 miles SE of Blanco on Farm Road 165, turn right on Chimney Valley Road to the B. R. Gloor Ranch (1984). >From the house the grave is 200 yards south on the edge of a field. There was a large hackberry tree near the grave but it blew down a few years ago. Piersick, a young female, name or age unknown. Probably died around the 1880's. Parents names unknown. Siblings: None are known except a sister, Josephine Piersick Wagner. She married Samuel E. Wagner and stayed in the Blanco area. Her family sold the place to Buckners in the early 1900's and moved to the San Hedwig area south of San Antonio. The Piersicks had come to Blanco with or around the same time as the Kosobs and Ploughs. No fence or marker.
