The Rev. J. R. Hillard, Methodist pastor, conducted the rites. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Dora Burney and Mrs. Cora Holloman of Kerrville, and Mrs. Mattie Young of McCamey; two sons, J. W. Lackey of Brady and J. C. Lackey of San Angelo; 19 grandchildren and 14 great-children. Additional Comments: Charles was born 10 Dec 1860 in Blanco Co., TX and died 12 Nov 1939 in Kerrville, Kerr Co., TX. He was first married to Fannie Stokes and had one daughter, Dora. After Fannie died, Charles married Sarah Alice Piercy and had 4 more children, James W., Mattie, John Colvin, and Cora.
