Edgar Eugen "Gene" Hall killed Oct. 7, 1956, Hooks, Texas, Age 11. Harry W. Hall died in Hooks, Texas in 1960. Floyd Scott died Jan. 31, 1956. He had lived in Hooks, Texas. Ophelia Wilburn Sisk Scott died Dec. 10, 1964, Texarkana, Texas. Buried Chapelwood Cemetery. Ophelia Jones Taylor Wilburn Sisk married Floyd Scott, Oct. 5, 1942, in Hooks, Texas. Ophelia born Oct. 31, 1894 at Bryans Mill, Texas. Her father and mother were J. E. Jones, born Feb. 28, 1871, Jefferson, Texas. And Melissa A. Adams Jones, born June 11, 1876, Dekalb Texas. Johnny Elexander was better known as J. J. Jones. His dad was Oliver T. Jones "Little Oll". His mother was Josie (Schaffer) Jones. Obituary: Nov. 14, 1939, name of publication not given. Johnny Elexander Jones. J. J. Jones, 69, a former resident of Bowie Co., died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at his home in Ashdown, Ark. following a long illness. Mr. Jones was a native of New Boston, Texas. Surviving are his wife, three sons, Irvin Jones of Keary, Ennis Jones of New Boston, and Homer Jones of Shreveport, La. Five daughters, Mrs. Ophelia Sisk of Texarkana, Mrs. Dessie Heffington of Port, Okla., Mrs. Sallie Pennington of Randlett, Okla., Mrs. Cecil Buster and Pear Jones, both of Ashdown, Ark., Two brothers Tip Jones of New Boston and Arch Jones of Queen City, Texas, and five sisters; Mrs. Rosie Jones, Mrs. Trud Scott, Mrs. Bulah Jones, Mrs. Pearl Anderson, and Mrs. Eva Collom, all of New Boston. (These brothers and sisters are half kin). 18 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral service will be help at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Mr. Sneed of Texarkana officiating. Active pallbearers will be Eddie Ware, Harold Hatcher, Paul McAllister, Robert Genes, Percy Stevens, and Willie McAllister.
