Meeks family Cemetery is located on land now owned by Phillip Glover family.
The Meeks family bought the land from a W. F. Whitehurst on May 12, 1893.  John
Meeks sold the land to the Barnes family and they in turn sold the land to Mr.
Glover in 1946. Mr. Glover helped us with the history and where the known graves
are located.

Unknown young man died of a fever.(Mr. Glover was a young boy at
the time.

Summer 1992.  I have added information from death records 
to several.  They were done in 1976-79 by myself and two
