Jonathan Clapp (1713-82) was appointed major under Col. Seth Pomeroy, 2d Hampshire County regiment. In 1778 he resigned on account of advanced age. He was born and died in Northampton, Mass. Asahel Clark (1737-1822) served as lieutenant in the Hampshire County regiment, Capt. Joseph Clapp's company, 1778. He was born in Northampton; died in Easthampton, Mass. Eliakim Clark (1762-1828) served as private under Captains Stearns and Pomeroy, Massachusetts Line. He was born and died in Northampton, Mass. John Graham (1761-99) served as private in Captain Dixon's North Carolina regiment. He was born and died in Rowan County, N. C. Samuel Pool (1736-1830), who had fought in the early wars, served as 2d lieutenant in Capt. Abiel Pierce's company, Col. Nicholas Dike's regiment. He was born in Abington; died in Eaton. Mass.
