Sanford Kingsbery (1743-1833) was appointed muster master for the Connecticut 
troops and served as major at Ticonderoga and, in 1783, was Chief Justice of 
the Court of Common Pleas for Cheshire County. He was born in Wests Farms, Conn.; 
died in Claremont, N. H.
