Sarah Saunders; Eli Collins m. 1781 Mary - (b. 1755); John Quarles m. Sarah -. Eli Collins (1759-1844) enlisted, 1776, in Capt. Micajah Little's company, Colonels Dozier and Ash's regiments, North Carolina militia. He was born in Delaware; died in Hempstead County, Ark. William Trigg, Jr. was appointed lieutenant colonel of Bedford County, Virginia troops, 1778, and was colonel at close of the war. He was born in Berks County, Va.; died in Tennessee. John Quarles (1736-98) was colonel of Bedford County, Virginia militia. He was born and died in Virginia.
