Angley Submitted by Jo Autrey 06 Dec 1998 Mrs. Georgia Ellen Walker Angley of Maud, Texas died Saturday,November 9, 1985, in a local hospital after a brief illness. Services will be at 3 p.m. today, Sunday, November 10, 1985, at the First Baptist Church of Maud with the Revs. Jackie Stanfield and Paul Klinger officiating. Burial will be in Center Ridge Cemetery under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home. Mrs. Angley was born in Bowie Countuy, Texas, and had lived at Maud most of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Maud, had worked with the Children's Vacation Bible School, was a member of Order of the Eastern Star No. 879 and the Ladies Auxillary of the Harvey D. Shaver V.F.W. Post No. 8396. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Jo THompson and Ruby Dell Powell, both of Maud; two brothers, Morris Autrey of DeKalb, Texas, and David Autrey of Texarkana; four sisters, Minnie Rogers of Maud, Rosa Lea Shawler and Chris Springer, both of Texarkana and Bea Krams of Dallas, Texasl; six grandchildren and six great- grandchildren.The family will be at the Cleatus Powell residence, 309 Milan St.,Maud, Texas.
