NEW BOSTON, Texas-Debra Elizabeth Banks, 56, of New Boston died Monday, Oct. 
14, 2013, at her home.

Ms. Banks was born April 4, 1957, in Texarkana, Texas. She was an inventory 
clerk with Red River Army Depot and a member of Tapp United Methodist Church, 
where she sang in the choir.

Survivors include her parents, Otto and Hope Banks of New Boston; two brothers 
and sisters-in-law, Otto Jr. and Lucy Banks of Keller, Texas, and Ken and 
Suzanne Banks of Flower Mound, Texas; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn 
Banks and Dan Davis of Livingston, Texas and Barbara and Doug Kyles of Hooks, 
Texas, and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Tapp UMC with the Revs. Ricky Ivey and Ken 
Calhoun officiating. Burial will be in Read Hill Cemetery under direction of 
Bates-Rolf Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the 
funeral home. The family will be at the home of Doug and Barbara Kyles in 
Hooks. Memorials may be made to Tapp UMC, PO Box 35, New Boston, TX 75570, or 
Hospice of Texarkana, 803 Spruce St., Texarkana, TX 75501.
