Obit: Bowie Co Texas -   LAURA BEESON


             Laura E. Beeson 89,of Texarkana,Texas died Tuesday January 8,2002 in a
             local nursing home.  Mrs. Beeson was born Feb 3,1912 in Miami,Okla.  She
             was a homemaker and a member of Highland Park Baptist Church.  She was
             preceaded in death by her husband, Edward D. (Bud) Beeson,who died on
             November 5,1979 and one daughter, Phyllis J. Beeson Tucker,who died on
             January 16,1989.  Survivors include one son, Edward M. (Mike) Beeson of
             Texarkana; one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Frank and Elizabeth
             Ann Hansford of Miami; and Doris Ann Beeson of Texarkana; 4 grandchildren;
             one great-grandson; and a number of other relatives.  Services  will be 1 p.m.
             Friday at East Funeral Home  with Dr. David Blase and the Rev. Ed Claybrook
             officiating.  Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens.  The family will be at the
             home of Mike Beeson.
