NEW BOSTON, Texas-Charles Edward Boyd, Jr., 44, of New Boston died Saturday, 
May 21, 2011, at his home.

Mr. Boyd was born Sept. 26, 1966, in Houston. He was retired from the tire 
service and a Pentecostal. Survivors include his wife, Debi Luke; one stepson, 
Sam Luke; his mother, Patricia Engleman; four sisters, Patricia Alms of Wichita 
Falls, Texas, Ronda Canaday of Hooks, Texas, Pamela Sargent of New Boston and 
Mildred Whisenhunt of Austin; eight nephews; four nieces; and a number of great-
nieces and nephews.

Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Comforter Funeral Home with Steve Harper 
officiating. Burial will be in Read Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 
7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
