E. C. Brown, 67, a resident of North State Line Ave., died about 5 p.m. Tuesday in a local 
hospital after suffering a heart attack.
Born November 16, 1890 at Clarendon, Ark., Mr. Brown had resided in Texarkana since
1917, moving here from Brinkley, Ark.
He was an employee of the Kansas City Southern Railroad, and a member of the 
Methodist Church.
Survivng are his wife, Mrs. Dolly Brown of Texarkana, two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Ashley 
of St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Vernon ???? of ????
one brother, Herbert Brown of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and a number of nieces and nephews.
The body will remain at the Texarkana Funeral Home pending completion of funeral arrangements.
