Glyn Oliver Baucum Obituary

Glyn Oliver Baucum, 70, of Maud, Texas, died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2004,
in a local hospital. Mr. Baucum was born Feb. 25, 1934, in New Boston,
Texas. He was retired from Texas Highway Department, a member of Maud
First Baptist Church and a Korean War Army veteran. He was preceded
in death by his wife, Mary Donna Baucum. Survivors include one
daughter, Radonna Freeman Foster of Redwater, Texas; one son, Lynn
Baucum Sr. of Maud; one half-brother, Homer Steelman of New Boston;
five grandchildren; Tabatha Cobb and Lynn Baucum Jr. of Ashdown, Ark.,
Jason Freeman of Maud and Megan Freeman and Marshall Freeman of
Redwater; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Center Ridge Cemetery,
Maud, with the Rev. Brandon Womack officiating. Burial will be under
direction of Texarkana Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7:30
p.m. today at the funeral home. Texarkana Daily Gazette, August
