He had arrived from New Orleans on a visit to his uncle and took sick immediately upon reaching the hotel. He was suffering from congestion and died in a few moments. The young man was about 30 years of age and had just been married, his wife being in New Orleans and was soon to follow him. The remains were interred from the Catholic church in this city.
