Thomas Allen Cockerham, 69, of New Boston, Texas, formerly of
Stamps, Ark, died Friday, Jan. 14, 2005, in a New Boston nursing
home. Mr. Cockerham was born March 17, 1935, in Jena, La. He was
a retired truck driver and a member of New Boston American
Legion and Calvary Baptist Church, Stamps. He was preceded in
death by his wife, Delores Jo McDonald Cockerham. Survivors
include two sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney and Debbie
Cockerham of New Boston and Mark and Lisa Cockerham of League
City, Texas0; one brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Laura
Cockerham of Sulphur Springs, Texas; one sister and
brother-in-law, Virginia and Buster Brazzel of Stamps; and five
grandchildren. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday in
Lakeside Cemetery with Mike Turner officiating. Burial will be
under direction of Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6
p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
