NEW BOSTON, Texas-Elbert Crow, 86, of New Boston died Sunday, July 21, 2013, at 
his home.

Mr. Crow was born March 20, 1927, in Oklahoma. He was retired from Texas 
Department of Public Transportation, a Baptist and an Army veteran. He was 
preceded in death by his first wife, Scotty Crow; and two sons, Charles Crow 
and Elbert Crow. Survivors include his wife, Lauraenda Merriman-Crow; three 
stepdaughters, Brandie Barker, Shannon McDonald and Ashley Davis; one brother, 
David Crow; one sister, Willie Adair; seven granddaughters; and two special 
friends, Charles and Cheryl Buccola.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Comforter Funeral Home. Burial will be in 
Read Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral
