Obituary for Robert E. DeFee 3 July 1922 - 9 September 2000 Texarkana, Bowie County, Texas Robert E. DeFee, 78, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2000, in Texarkana. Mr DeFee was born July 3, 1922, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was an inspector for Red River Army Depot and member of Central Christian Church and Texarkana Amateur Radio Club. Survivors include his wife, Pauline DeFee of Texarkana, one daughter, Nancy Tate of Texarkana, one brother, William "Bill" DeFee of Alexandria, La., one grandson, William Tate of Texarkana and one granddaughter, Christina Tate of Texarkana. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Monday at Hillcrest Cemetery, with the Rev. Mark Irons officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest cemetery under direction of East Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Note: Robert was the son of the late William J. DeFee and Ruby Dennis DeFee, longtime residents of Texarkana. Submitted by: William A.
