Obit: Bowie CO Texas -   SHELAGH DENTON


             Shelagh Nagire Denton 61,of Texarkana,Texas died Monday May 24,1999
             at her home.  Mrs. Denton was born November 26,1937 in Dunedin,New 
             Zealand.  She was a homemaker, member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church,
             North Shore Animal League and American Society for Prevention of Cruelty
             to Animals.  Survivors include her husband, Michael Denton of Texarkana; four
             sons, David Birse of Wellington,New Zealand; Anthony Greer of Mesquite,
             Texas; Danny Greer of Balch Springs,Texas; and Joseph Denton of Texarkana;
             one daughter, Donna Ward of Whitianaga, New Zealand; her mother, Connie
             Allen of Dundein; one brother, Gerald McMahon of Wellington; her mother-in-
             law, Emily Neal of Texarkana; 3 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
             Memorial mass will be 3 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with 
             Monsignor Gerald Priest officiating under direction of East Funeral Home.
             The family will be at 121 Pintail Ave,Texarkana,Texas.
