Obit: Bowie Co Texas - LILLIAN DUREN


             Lillian Mallett Duren 82,of Ashdown,Ark died Tuesday February 19,2002 at
             her home.  Mrs. Duren was born May 16,1919 in Wickes,Ark.  She was retired
             from Day & Zimmerman Ammunition Plant and member of Hickory Street
             Baptist Church.  She was preceaded in death by her first husband, William B.
             Mallett, who died on February 3,1967.  Survivors include her husband, Crawford
             Duren of Ashdown; one daughter, Betty Smith of Nash,Texas; two sons, David
             Mallett of Flower Mound,Texas; and William B. Mallett Jr. of Wenatchee,Wash
             ; one stepson; one sister, Martha Jane Haralson of Wake Village,Texas; one
             brother, Joe Pryor of Texas; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren;
             and a number of other relatives.  Services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Nash First
             Baptist Church with the Revs. Joe Strebeck and Ed Eaton officiating.  Burial
             will be in East Memorial Gardens under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home.
             The families will be at 920 Oak Place, Ashdown, or 205 E. 38th St., 
             Texarkana,Ark.
