Lucille Stanton Flanery, 68, of Maud, Texas, died Friday, January 2, 2004, at her home. Mrs. Flanery was born February 6, 1935, in Bryans Mill, Texas. She was retired from Red River Army Depot and member of Oakridge Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lee Flanery Jr., on June 26, 2002. Survivors include two sons, Stacy Flanery of Maud and Terry Flanery of Redwater, Texas; one brother, Carlton Stanton of Dallas; two sisters, Marty Finley of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Marie Stanton of Montrose, Colo.; four granddaughters, Shanda Stewart and Holly Flanery of Redwater, Andrea Tyndell of New Boston, Texas, and Tyler Flanery of Maud; one great-granddaughter, Rilee Stewart of Redwater; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Oakridge Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Ronnie Pipes and Jason Dudley officiating. Burial will be in Center Ridge Cemetery under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
