Obit: Bowie Co Texas - DAISY FOWLER. November 5,2001


             Daisy Johnson Cockrell Fowler 88,of Webb City,Mo formely of Texarkana,
             Texas died Monday November 5,2001 in a Joplin,Mo hospital.  Mrs. Fowler
             was born June 25,1913 in Addington,Okla.  She was preceaded in death
             by her husbands, Sylvester Cockrell,in 1961 and Walter Fowler,in 1984.
             Survivors include two sons, Elroy "Roy" Cockrell of Mesquite,Nev; and 
             Sammy J. Cockrell of Hastings,Okla; one daughter, Ruby Jean Petty of 
             Webb City; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great- 
             grandchild; and a number of other relatives.  Graveside services will be noon
             Thursday in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens,Nash,Texas under direction of
             Simpson Funeral Home.
