Obit: Bowie Co Texas - JAMES GREEN


             James Eli Green 81,of Redwater,Texas died Friday January 6,1995 in
             a Texarkana hospital.  Mr. Green was born May 10,1913 in New Boston,
             Texas.  He was retired from Day & Zimmermann Inc and a member of
             First Baptist Church,Redwater.  He was preceaded in death by his wife,
             Crickett Green.  Survivors include three brothers, Luther Green of
             Redwater; A.D. Green of Texarkana,Texas; and Robert Green of Hooks,
             Texas; one sister,Mary Alice Ward of Texarkana; and a number of nieces
             and nephews.  Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Texarkana Funeral Home
             Chapel with the Revs. Cranford Graves and Milledge Ogelsby officiating.
             Burial will be in Redwater Cemetery.  The family will be at the home of
             Billy McCloskey in Redwater.
