Obit: Richard Greer, Texarkana, Bowie County Texas Greer Services Scheduled Today Texarkana Gazette 10/23/1957 Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Polly Chapel Baptist Church, 2123 Spruce Street, for Richard Greer, well known Texarkana Negro, who died Saturday at his home at 824 W. 21st. Street. The Rev. J. L. Hunter will officiate and burial will be in Fair Haven Cemetery. Greer had been a resident of Texarkana since 1884. Survivors include five sons, Bennie and Henry Greer, both of Texarkana, William Greer of Portland, Ore., Elbert Greer of Los Angeles, Calif., and David Tisdom Freer of Altus, Okla. Six daughters; Louise Greer amd Mrs. B. T.
