Obit: Bowie Co Texas -  ROY HARLAND


             Roy Lee Harland 58,of Redwater,Texas died July 11,1951 in a Dallas 
             hospital, following a brief illness.  Mr. Harland was born July 1,1893.
             He was preceaded in death by his wife,Zula Elizabeth Harland and two
             stillborn children.  Survivors include one son,John Hiram Harland of
             Miller Grove,Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Beryl and Hugh Guy
             of Kansas City,Mo; two brothers, E.F. Harland and H.H. Harland of
             both of Texarkana,Texas; one sister, Mrs. Allen Green of Texarkana; 
             and three grandchildren.  Services will be 3:30 p.m. Friday at Redwater
             Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Redwater Cemetery under direction
             of East Funeral Home.  Active pallbearers will be Mr. Harland's nephews.
             The body will be taken to the family home in Redwater by East Funeral 
             Home Thursday afternoon.
