Obit: Bowie CO Texas - GILES HASTINGS


             Giles (Coye) Hastings 97,of Bagwell,Texas died Monday May 29,2000
             at his home.  Mr. Hastings was born September 26,1902 in Red River
             County,Texas.  He was in the logging business and a member of Church
             of Christ.  Survivors include his wife,Juanita Hastings of Bagwell;
             three sons,James Hastings of Bodcaw,Ark; Ray Hastings of Detroit,Texas;
             and Bobby Hastings of Electra,Texas; one daughter,Phillis Townes of
             Detroit; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two nephews.
             Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Clarksville Funeral Home Lindeman
             Chapel with the Rev. Don Shovan and Dr. Wilbur Simmons officiating.
             Burial will be in Blanton Creek Cemetery,North of Bagwell.
