Obit for Vernon L. "Big Boy" Haynes, Bowie Co. Texas
Vernon Lee "Big Boy" Haynes age 79,of 1006 Westlawn Dr,Texarkana,Texas 
died Saturday August 4,1979 in a Texarkana,Ark hospital. Mr. Haynes was 
born April 4,1901 in Alabama. He was retired from Gifford Hill Co a member 
of the Methodist Church and a resident of Texarkana for the past thirty years. 
Survivors include his wife Nora Louise Haynes of Texarkana; one nephew,
Vernon Jack Haynes of San Antonio,Texas; and a number of other relatives. 
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at East Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with 
the Rev. David Parker officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
