LEE ANDREW JARRETT Funeral services for Lee Andrew Jarrett, who died last Thursday at his home in Memphis, were held at Hebron. They were conducted by Eld. J.G. Murry, and burial was under direction of the Benton Funeral Home. He was a member of Merry Height Baptist Church of Memphis. Mr. Jarrett, a resident of Memphis for the last eight or ten years, was born Dec 10, 1879. He was married to Miss Virdie Hopper. Dec. 31, 1905. To this union, 11 Children were born, all but three of whom survive. Survivors other than his wife, include: His stepmother, Mrs. William Jarrett, Fordyce; Four sons, Presley Jarrett, Pine Bluff, Theo Jarrett, Doyle Jarrett and Guy L. Jarrett, all of Memphis: four daughters, Mrs., Nora Bryson and Mrs. Norma Hammond of Memphis, Mrs. Clara Fay Anderson, Knoxville, Tenn., and Mrs. Henry Johnson, Floroin, L.A.; two brothers, Calvin Jarrett, Wynne, and Willie Jarrett, Memphis; one sister Mrs. W. C. Parker, Fordyce; three half-sisters, Mrs. Zora Green, Benton, Mrs. Maudie Sherwood and Mrs. Paul Pennington, both of Fordyce, and step-sister, Mrs. Vera Word, Fordyce.
