Bonny Johnson 75,of Cookville, Texas died Sunday July 8,1990 in a Mount Pleasant, 
Texas hospital. Mr. Johnson was born October 19,1914 in Redwater, Texas. He was 
retired from Red River Army Depot, a member of Redwater United Methodist Church 
and a veteran of World War II.   

Survivors include his wife, Dosia Johnson of Cookville; two sons, Walter Roy 
Johnson Sr. of Redwater; and Bonny Daniel Johnson of Arlington, Va; one daughter, 
Jo Ann Bayless of Palestine, Texas; three brothers, Weldon Johnson of Redwater; 
Arthur M. Johnson of Carthage, Texas; and Spencer Johnson of San Antonio, Texas; 
one sister, Marie McGee of Daingerfield, Texas; seven grandchildren; and three 
great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Redwater United Methodist 
Church with the Revs. Jerry Vickers and Bobby Phillips officiating. Burial will be 
in Redwater Cemetery, under direction of Bates-Cooper Funeral Home.
