Born July 10, 1904, at Arapho, Okla., Mrs. Jones had lived in Texarkana since 1929, moving here from Shreveport. She was a member of Hardy Memorial Methodist Church and the Builders Class and a member of the O. E. S. No. 211. Survivors include her husband, J. D. Jones, a daughter, Mrs. Clifton H. Smith, two brothers, Henry Taylor of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Oscar Taylor of Cookville, Texas, a sister, Mrs. Ella Beasley of Omaha, Texas, a grandson, Steve Daniel Smith of Texarkana, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Texarkana Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Travis L. Darby officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery with graveside services under the direction of O. E. S. No. 211. Pallbearers will be S. H. Wilkey, Harding Brown, Roy Snow, D. C. Mitchell, Bryan Blalock, and James Russell. Honarary pallbearers will be members of Border Lodge No. 211, O. E. S.
