Obit: Bowie Co Texas - CLENTIS JORDAN


             Clentis V. (C.V.) Jordan 83,of Redwater,Texas died Tuesday June 20,
             2000 in a local hospital.  Mr. Jordan was born February 13,1917 in
             Redwater.  He was retired from Filtrol Corp. a member of Redwater
             Church of Christ and an Army veteran of World War II.  Survivors 
             include his wife,Ollie Louise Shelton Jordan of Redwater; two daughters,
             Margaret Estes of Redwater; and Patricia White of Norman,Okla; one
             son,Allen Jordan of Long Beach,Calif; five grandchildren; and three great-
             grandchildren.  Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Redwater
             Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Miller officiating under direction of 
             Texarkana Funeral Home.  The family will be at the home of Margaret
             Estes on Goodson Road,Redwater.
