Obit: Bowie Co Texas - OPHIE LITTLE


             Ophie Marie Runnels Little 82,of DeKalb,Texas formely of   
             Redwater,Texas died Wednesday May 24,1995 in a local hospital.  
             Mrs. Little was born September 24,1912 in
             Bowie County,Texas.  She was retired from Red River Army Depot and a
             member of First Baptist Church,DeKalb.  She was preceaded in death by
             her husband, William Fred Little,who died on April 17,1986 and her
             son,William Runnels Little,on May 14,1993.  Survivors include two 
             daughters and one son-in-law,Lila and Gerald Pickens of DeKalb; and
             Melba Little of Ashworth,Ga;  one daughter-in-law,Virginia Little of 
             Redwater,Texas; one sister, Inez Dodd of Texarkana; 10 grandchildren;
             16 great-grandchildren,  Graveside services will be 1 p.m. today in
             Red Bayou Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Townsley officiating under
             direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home,New Boston,Tx
