NEW BOSTON, Texas-Frances Louise Mahone, 86, of New Boston died Saturday, March 
28, 2015.

Mrs. Mahone was born June 23, 1928, in Mount Vernon, Texas. She worked for Red 
River Army Depot, a Ford dealership, Visiting Angels, and Vanda Beauty. She was 
a member of First Baptist Church, New Boston. She was preceded in death by her 
husband, Joe B. Mahone; and one grandchild, Michelle Ann Mahone.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Brenda Mahone of 
Longview, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Mike Long of 
Austin, Texas; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Geralene and Claude "Bud" 
Young; four grandchildren, Matt Mahone of South Lake, Texas, Michelle McKeehan 
of Prosper, Texas, Whitney Long of Houston an Courtney Long of Austin; seven 
great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home. Burial will be in 
Read Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 506 S. McCoy 
Blvd., New Boston, TX 75570
