             Burl Boyd Malone 80,of Texarkana,Texas died Wednesday December 27,2000
             in a local hospital.  Mr. Malone was born June 14,1920 in Dierks,Ark.  He was 
             a retired heavy equipment contractor and a member of Eylau Christian Church.
             He was preceaded in death by one son,Rodney Hal Malone.  Survivors 
             include his wife, Norene Malone of Texarkana; one daughter, Barbara Titus
             of Ogden,Utah; two stepsons; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren
             Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel with
             the Rev. Carl Teel officiating.  Burial will be in Eylau Christian Cemetery.
             The family will be at the Malone home.
