M. D. (Dud) Markham Obit for M. D. MARKHAM, appearing in the Texarkana Gazette, Thurs, July 24, 1941 M. D. (Dud) Markham, 54 of the Red Lick community, died at 4:25 pm, Wednesday in a local hospital. A native of Red Lick, Mr. Markham was a member of the Red Lick Methodist Church, and was a member of the Order of Odd Fellows. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Charles Markham of Ft. Bliss, Texas, and Jewel Markham of Texarkana; three daughters, Mrs. L. R. Lindblad, Mrs. O. M. Lockman and Miss Mildred Markham all of Texarkana; four brothers, R. C. of Leary, Texas, F. S. of Dallas, Texas, Fred of Dierks, Ark. and Gus of Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Eitel of DeKalb, Texas and Mrs. Virgil Waters of Texarkana. Funeral services have been set tentatively for Friday afternoon at the Red Lick Methodist church with the Odd Fellows in charge.
