Mr. May was born July 14,1949 in DeKalb. He was a retired lab technician for Lone Star Steel Co. Inc. and a member of Wards Creek Missionary Baptist Church and Dalby Springs Masonic Lodge. Survivors include one son, DeWayne May of Commerce, Texas; one daughter, Leigh Ann Kaan of Grand Prairie, Texas; his parents, Frank Jr. and Neoma May of Simms, Texas; five brothers, Norman Joe Granberry of Paris, Texas; James L. May and Fred May of Simms; Robert May of Covington, Ga;and Frank May III of New Boston, Texas; seven sisters, Charlotte May and Penny Hughes of Simms;Jackie Ann Morris of Corning, Ark; Mary Patterson of DeKalb; June Walker of Austin, Texas; Sandra Greene of New Boston; and Karen Arsenault of Hiram, Ga; three grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. today at Wards Creek Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. James Bunger and Carl Raleigh officiating. Burial will be in Wards Creek Cemetery, under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home, DeKalb.
