Obit: Bowie Co Texas -   CHESTER MCKAMIE


             Chester Ray McKamie 79,of Texarkana,Texas died Saturday September
             16,1995 in a local hospital.  Mr. McKamie was born April 24,1916 in
             Hempstead County,Ark.  He was retired from Bruner-Ivory and a Baptist.
             He was preceaded in death by one son,Donny McKamie.  Survivors include
             one son,Leonard (Sonny) McKamie of Texarkana; two daughters and one
             son-in-law, Sandy Dee of Texarkana; and Susie and Bill Neese of 
             Redwater,Texas; one brother,Doc McKamie of Hope,Ark; two sisters,
             Jewell Terry of Hope; and Audie Bush of Waskom,Texas; 12 grandchild
             ren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.  
             Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today in Watercreek Cemetery with
             the Rev. Matthew Neese officiating under direction of Herndon Funeral
             Home.
