Obit: Bowie Co Texas -   OLEN MILLS


             Olen Lawrence Mills 77,of Fouke,Ark died Thursday May 10,2001 in a local
             hospital.  Mr. Mills was born August 27,1923 in Fouke.  He was a retired 
             oilfield service worker, a 32nd degree mason, and a Navy veteran.  Survivors
             include his wife,Shirley Mills of Fouke; one son, Ben Mills of Oklahoma City,
             Okla; two daughters, Karen McCracker of Fouke; and Melinda Yetter of
             Guthrie,Okla; one sister-in-law, Lorene Mills of Texarkana; 6 grandchildren;
             and a number of nieces, nephes, and other relatives.  Services will be 2 p.m.
             Sunday at Pisgah Baptist Church.  Burial will be in Independence Cemetery
             under direction of East Funeral Home.
