NEW BOSTON, Texas-Willie Mae Morris, 98, of New Boston died Sunday, Jan. 31, 
2010, in a Texarkana, Texas, hospital.

Mr. Morris was born Dec. 14, 1911, in Bowie County, Texas. She was retired from 
Lone star Army Ammunition Plant and a member of New Boston Dogwood Garden Club 
and First Baptist Church, New Boston. She was preceded in death by her husband.

Survivors include three daughters, Lanell Smith and Mary A. Miller of New 
Boston and Eva Jo Ward of Hooks, Texas; nine grandchildren; 16 great-
grandchildren; 27 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today in Eylau Cemetery, Eylau, Texas, with 
Ken Cox officiating. Burial will be under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Read Hill Cemetery Fund, New Boston, Eylau Cemetery 
Fund or a charity of choice.
