NEW BOSTON, Texas-Harold "Gene" Osborn, 80, of New Boston died Friday, Jan. 30, 
2015, in a Texarkana nursing home.

Mr. Osborn was born April 28, 1934, in Butler, Mo. He was a Baptist. Survivors 
include his wife, Margie Osborn of New Boston; two stepchildren, Janice Shank 
of Virginia Beach, Va., and Margaret Rodriguez of Ridgecrest, Calif.; one 
brother, James Dewayne Osborn of Oregon; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10:30 p.m. Monday at Comforter Funeral Home with Jimmy Woodard 
officiating. Burial will be in Read Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 
3:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
