Services will be 4 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, Maud, with the Revs. Jackie Stanfield and Ron Hammonds officiating. Burial will be in Center Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home Mr. Rogers was born Aug. 6, 1925 in Maud, Texas, and had been a lifetime resident He was retired from Red River Army Depot, veteran of World War II, and a member of the First Baptist Church, Maud Surivors include his wife, Annie Ingram Rogers of Maud; two sons, Jesse Noah Rogers and Roy Elbert Rogers, both of Maud; two daughters, Vickie Wise and Ginger Turner, both of Maud; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jessie S. Rogers of Maud; three sisters, Melba Hammonds of Simms,Texas, Lola Lewis of Maud, and Glenda Dodson of Fouke, Ark and seven grandchildren. (Joseph V. Rogers born August 6, 1925, died May 17, 1987.
